OK We are in! Currently showing complete lack of imagination we are team "Number 1" To be altered once we decide a theme! We Are Ben, Matt, Ed & Marcus, from Guildford. So I have a q about rules/spirit of the ramshackle!

Are there any budget restrictions on mechanical work repairs etc made to the car before we start. IE is it wiser to buy a mechanically sound (but !^%$) car with MOT for £150, or is it better to buy a nicer car that needs a bit of work to get an MOT etc?

I saw the "days of Thunder" Mondeo from a previous rally on ebay today with bids at £300!

On another note, lets try and get the biggest ramshackle convoy ever going for the duration of the trip!

I vote no toll roads! Lets get off the beaten track and explore.

we hunted like mad last year and found a mondeo with enough mot to last us untill after the rally , if you buy a car without mot it could turn into a cash cow and cost u a fortune getting it through the mot.
