Having survived the first two days, it's time for an easier leg at last. The drive from Bormio to Ljubljana is a little mor forgiving than either of the previous days endeavours. The miles can be clocked off with relative ease and you may even be able to manage a late breakfast in Bormio before you set off.

In Ljubljana the old meets the new, creating the unique appearance of the Old Town. This is a picturesque blend of Medieval, Baroque and Art Nouveau masterpieces combined with the original character given to the city by the famous architect Jože Plecnik.
